 Safety
Belize is a very safe country by world standards. Our staff has led thousands of participants on mission trips the past two decades in Belize and has never had a significant safety issue. Safety is a priority of ours at Thirst Missions, and we take the safety of our participants very seriously.
A few examples of how we take safety seriously are: we have ready access to local hospitals and clinics, we have experienced staff with the team during the whole trip to take care of our team membersÂ’ needs, we travel in groups, and we partner with local churches and pastors who look out for our team members. We also have first aid kits, cell phones, and on-site transportation, as well as provide safe drinking water and food.
Please be assured that we will do everything realistically in our power to keep your group members safe in Belize.
